A journey in which she has quantum leaped from graduate developer to Engineering Team Lead. There’s so much to appreciate about Tracy, so let’s get to know her!

What do you like about your role at IBU?
The ability to work and travel at the same time.
Describe the best trip you’ve ever had?
Too hard to narrow it down! So I’ll say my last trip, which was working remotely from Buenos Aires for a month. I got to be there during Argentina’s national elections, play polo, have daily Spanish lessons, eat empanadas and go on weekend trips to Uruguay, Iguazu Falls and the Tigre Delta.
What destinations are on your bucket list and why?
Mexico! For the food, the Spanish and pre-Spanish cultures, beaches, pyramids, amazing archaeology, language… and did I say food?
What are your top travel items you have to have when you travel?
Tea bags and chocolate, because if I get home sick, nothing makes me feel better than chocolate and a cup of tea from home.
Why should people buy travel insurance?
Because if something bad happens, you don’t want to have to think about logistics.
When you’re not at work what do you do for fun?
I plan trips, learn Spanish, play with my dogs and read a whole lot.
